第二天性 is a new concert-length music and video work from composer/performer and 湿墨合集 Co-Director Eric Wubbels, an artist who “brings meticulous poise to his experimentalism,” and whose music, “with references to many traditions, sounds like nothing by any other composer” 《纽约时报》).

Written for and developed in long-term collaboration with 湿墨合集 members Erin Lesser and Ian Antonio, 第二天性 is an extended meditation on cycles of growth, decay, and regeneration, drawing on ancient, contemporary, and futurist perspectives, instruments, and technologies.

作为其流派鼻祖莫顿·费尔德曼（Morton Feldman）晚期的长笛、钢琴、打击乐三重奏，这部作品随后转向了一个截然不同的方向，在自然、文化和科技的当代交叉点中寻找意义和复杂性。

Their latest album, 粗糙的魔法 (New Amsterdam Records, 2023) was captured using groundbreaking recording techniques and innovative spatial technology. 满屋子的牙齿 was recognized at the 66th GRAMMY Awards in 2024, winning Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance for 粗糙的魔法, and composer William Brittelle’s work 迷幻药, which appears on the album, was nominated for Best Contemporary Classical Composition.
